So your SEPM account is locked out? Symantec used to supply a batch file to reset the password, sadly not any more unless you contact support.

Here is what you need. Create a batch file: \Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools\resetpass.bat

Dump in these contents:

@echo off

set CATALINA_HOME=%CD%..\tomcat
set JRE_HOME=%CD%..\jre

“%JRE_HOME%\bin\java.exe” -Xms64m -Xmx256m -XX:MinHeapFreeRatio=30 -XX:MaxHeapFreeRatio=40 -classpath “%CD%..\bin\inst.jar;%CD%..\bin\inst-res.jar” -Dcatalina.home=”%CATALINA_HOME%” -Djava.library.path=”%CATALINA_HOME%\bin;%CATALINA_HOME%..\ASA\ setpassword admin admin

Run from an elevated command prompt. Bingo user and password reset to admin.
